He stated that <br />two letters in support of the project, an email and a phone call in opposition <br />were received by staff. A copy of the email was distributed to the Board <br />this afternoon. Shonda Herold, Wakeland Housing Development <br />Corporation, addressed the Board and thanked staff for their work on this <br />project. She stated they would be happy to take the Board’s comments Motion X <br />regarding a taller species of trees into consideration. Comments from the SecondX <br />audience: Dawn Hassett, spoke in support of the project. Following AyesXXXX <br />discussion the Cultural Heritage Board: 1) Determined that Planning NoesX <br />Case P17-0031 is statutorily exempt from the provisions of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15194 (Affordable <br />Housing Exemption) of the CEQA Guidelines, and is further categorically <br />exempt pursuant to Sections 15331 (Historical Resource <br />Restoration/Rehabilitation) and 15332 (In-Fill Development Projects) of <br />the CEQA Guidelines; and 2) Approved Planning Case P17-0031 based <br />on the findings summarized in the staff report and subject to the <br />recommended conditions, thereby issuing a Certificate of Appropriateness <br />for the project. <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />APPROVED - Cultural Heritage Board Minutes – October 18, 2017 <br /> <br />
