Dec. 13, 2018 Signatures in Lieu of Filing Fee Petitions available. Feb. 6, 2019 Last day to submit Petition In Lieu of Filing Fee. Feb. 11, 2019 First day to secure Nomination Papers. March 8, 2019 Last day to file Nomination Papers (unless extended if incumbent does not file), which must be filed by 5 p.m. Each candidate, at the time the Nomination Papers are filed, shall also file with the City Clerk a Statement of Economic Interests disclosing investments and interests in real property, the Candidate's Statement of Qualifications form, and the ballot designation worksheet. The filing fee shall also be paid at this time, unless waived in full or part by a Petition In Lieu of Filing Fee. FILING FEE FOR CITY COUNCIL = $25 March 9, 2019 Last date to withdraw Candidate's Statement of Qualifications, unless there is an extension of the nomination period. March 13, 2019 If incumbent has not filed by 5 p.m. on March 8, 2019, the voters shall have until 5 p.m. of this day to nominate candidates other than the incumbent. March 14, 2019 Secretary of State to conduct a drawing of the alphabet for determining the order of candidates' names on the ballot. In the event there is an extension of the nomination period, candidates for the office may have until this date at 5 p.m. to withdraw Candidate's Statement of Qualifications.
