1 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 <br /> 7 <br /> 8 <br /> 9 <br /> 10 <br /> 11 <br /> 12 <br /> 13 <br /> 14 <br /> 15 <br /> 16 <br /> 17 <br /> 18 <br /> 19 <br /> 20 <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> 23 <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 28 <br /> 30 <br /> <br /> 31 <br />1-22-85 <br />BP/h 32 <br /> <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> RIVERSIDE <br /> CALl FORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15618 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, MAKING APPLICATION TO THE <br />LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION OF RIVERSIDE <br />COUNTY FOR ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED <br />TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION NO. 54-- <br />TRAUTWEIN". <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> <br />Riverside, California, as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That pursuant to the provisions of the <br /> <br />Municipal Organization Act of 1977, being Part 2 of Division 2 <br />of Title 4 of the Government Code of the State of California <br />(commencing with Section 35000), application is hereby made to <br />the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of Riverside <br />for the annexation to the City of Riverside of certain herein- <br />after described uninhabited territory contiguous to said City, <br />which territory is hereby designated as "Annexation No. 54--Trautwein". <br /> <br /> Section 2: That the boundaries of the territory proposed <br /> <br />to be annexed to the City of Riverside are described as <br />Exhibit A, and that a map showing said boundaries is marked <br />as Exhibit B, which exhibits are attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> Section 3: That the City Council of the City of <br /> <br />Riverside desires to annex said uninhabited territory to the <br />City of Riverside for the following reasons: the territory <br />proposed to be annexed lies within the general area which has <br />been designated by the City Council, City Planning Commission <br />and the Local Agency Formation Commission as desirable for <br />annexation; the area proposed to be annexed is undeveloped and <br />annexation would allow the City of Riverside to exercise control <br />over development through planning and zoning; and anticipated <br />property and sales taxes from the area proposed to be annexed <br />are expected to exceed the costs the City may incur as a result <br />of providing the necessary municipal services. <br /> <br /> <br />
