1 <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 7 <br />GP-14-734 <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> 10 <br /> 11 <br /> 12 <br /> 13 <br /> 14 <br /> 15 <br /> 16 <br /> 17 <br /> 18 <br /> 19 <br /> 20 <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> 23 <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 28 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br /> <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> RIVERSIDE <br /> CALl FORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15608 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE LAND <br />USE ELEMENT OF THE RIVERSIDE GENERAL PLAN BY <br />DELETING THE MEDIUM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br />LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM APPROXIMATELY 9 1/2 <br />ACRES SITUATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF <br />CANYON CREST DRIVE AND EL CERRITO DRIVE <br />(EXTENDED EASTERLY) AND AT THE NORTHEAST AND <br />SOUTHEAST CORNERS OF CANYON CREST DRIVE AND <br />MONTE VISTA DRIVE AND BY PLACING THIS PROPERTY <br />IN THE HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL LAND USE <br />DESIGNATION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside <br />advertised for and held a public hearing on December 6, 1973 to <br />consider an amendment to the Land Use Element of the Riverside <br />General Plan as proposed by Case GP-14-734, and the Planning <br />Commission has recommended to the City Council that the <br />General Plan be amended; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Riverside <br />advertised for and held a public hearing on February 13, 1974 <br />to consider the proposed amendment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City Council considered this amendment <br /> <br />on January 8, 1985 and determined that this amendment will not <br />have a significant effect on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Riverside, California, that the City Council finds <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. It is in the public interest to amend the Land <br /> <br />Use Element of the Riverside General Plan as more particularly <br />described below. <br /> <br /> 2. The amendment will not have a significant effect <br /> <br />On the environment. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Land Use Element of <br /> <br />the Riverside General Plan is hereby amended by deleting the <br />Medium Low Density Residential land use designation from <br />approximately 9 1/2 acres situated at the northeast corner of <br /> <br /> <br />
