1 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 <br /> <br />7 <br />GP-10-845 <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> 10 <br /> 11 <br /> 12 <br /> 13 <br /> 14 <br /> 15 <br /> 16 <br /> 17 <br /> 18 <br /> 19 <br /> 20 <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> 23 <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 28 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> <br />CT/lm 32 <br />12/27/84 <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> RI VERSI DE <br /> CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15602 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE LAND USE <br />ELEMENT OF THE RIVERSIDE GENERAL PLAN BY REMOVING <br />THE VERY LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL-B LAND USE <br />DESIGNATION FROM APPROXIMATELY 26 ACRES OF LAND <br />EXTENDING BETWEEN MUIRFIELD ROAD AND OCOTILLO <br />DRIVE, APPROXIMATELY 1,000 FEET EASTERLY OF <br />WHITEGATE AVENUE AND PLACING THIS PROPERTY IN <br />THE VERY LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL-A LAND USE <br />DESIGNATION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside <br />advertised for and held a public hearing on October 18, 1984 to <br />consider an amendment to the Land Use Element of the Riverside <br />General Plan as proposed by Case GP-10-845, and the Planning <br />Commission has recommended to the City Council that the General <br />Plan be amended; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Environmental Protection Commission of the <br />City of Riverside considered the amendment on October 10, 1984 <br />and determined that the amendment would not have a significant <br />effect on the environment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Riverside <br />advertised for and held a public hearing on November 20, 1984 <br />and December 18, 1984, to consider the proposed amendment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the. City of Riverside that the City Council finds as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. It is in the public interest to amend the Land Use <br />Element of the Riverside General Plan as more particularly <br />described below. <br /> <br /> 2. The amendment will not have a significant adverse <br />effect on the environment. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Land Use Element of the <br />Riverside General Plan is hereby amended by removing the Very <br />Low Density Residential-B (average 0.5 dwelling unit per acre) <br />land use designation from the approximately'26 acres of land <br />extending between Muirfield Road and Ocotillo Drive, <br /> <br /> <br />
