RESOLUTION NO. 15601 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE REQUESTING THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MORENO VALLEY APPROVE THE TAKING OF CERTAIN PROCEEDINGS PURSUANT TO THE MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT ACT OF 1913 FOR THE FORMA- TION OF THE CANYON SPRINGS ASSESSMENT DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Riverside is contemplating certain work within the City and the County of Riverside and the City of Moreno Valley under the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913(commencing with Section 10000 of the California Streets and Highways Codel; and WHEREAS, a portion of the improvements.are located in the. unincorporated area of the County of Riverside and in the City of Moreno Valley and a portion of the property within the Canyon Springs Assessment District is located in the City of Moreno Valley; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 10103 of the Streets and Highways Code, the consent of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Riverside and the City Council of the City of Moreno Valley are required prior to ordering such work; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Riverside and'the City Council of the City of Moreno Valley are hereby requested to consent to the construction of a por- tion of the works of improvement which will lie in the unincor- porated area of the County of Riverside and within the City of Moreno Valley, and that the City Council of Moreno Valley further consents to the inclusion within the assessment district of the property lying within its boundaries. Section 2. The City Clerk and Special Bond Counsel to the City are hereby authorized and directed to cause to be trans- mitted a certified copy of this Resolution to the aforesaid Board of Supervisors and City Council.
