CITY COUNCIL AND REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 3,2009, 11 A.M. ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER CITY HALL 3900 MAIN STREET WARDS Roll Call: Present Mayor Loveridge convened the City Council in the Seventh Floor Conference Room at 11 a.m. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE There were no oral comments presented at this time. BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES - CONTINUED IN PART Following interviews with Jack E. Brewer, Dwayne A. MacDonald, and Gustavo Segura, the Mayor and City Council unanimously appointed Gustavo Segura to the Ward 5 seat on the Board of Public Utilities for a four-year term expiring March 1, 2013. RECESS The Mayor and City Council recessed at 11 :50 a.m. and reconvened at 12:30 p.m. with all Councilmembers present. Following interviews with William H. Densmore, Justin M. Scott-Coe, and Daniel W. Waldo, the Mayor and City Council unanimously and without formal motion continued interviews for the Citywide seat on the Board of Public Utilities. COMMUNITY POLICE REVIEW COMMISSION Following interviews with Robert B. Slawsby and Robert C. Garafalo, the Mayor and City Council appointed Robert B. Slawsby to the Ward 4 seat on the Community Police Review Commission for a four-year term expiring March 1, 2013. RECESS The City Council recessed at 2:40 p.m. and reconvened at 3 p.m. in the Art Pick Council Chamber with Mayor Loveridge presiding and all Councilmembers present. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE Ann Alfaro spoke regarding street resurfacing. AGENCY CONSENT CALENDAR Motion The following item was approved by one motion affirming the action Second appropriate to the item.
