The Board of Administrative Appeals and Zoning Adjustment of the City of Riverside failed to approve the application of H. D. Cook, Zoning Case V-90-901, for a variance from the building height requirements of Section 19.09.030 of the Riverside Municipal Code. Roger D. Chaussee, on behalf of petitioner, appealed to the City Council from the determination of the Board of Administrative Appeals and Zoning Adjustment. The City Council of the City of Riverside conducted a public hearing on January 8, 1991, in the matter of said appeal. RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside that it be and is hereby found and determined from the facts and conditions shown by the evidence at the public hearing and by the investigation of the City Council that the conditions set forth in Section 19.64,130 (b) exist, and the granting of the variance will be in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Riverside Municipal Code. RESOLVED FURTHER that a variance be and is hereby granted for the purpose of allowing three two-story single-family residences with a maximum height of 30 feet where maximum one-story 20-foot-high dwellings are permitted, as shown on the plot plan and in accordance with the terms of the conditions of approval.
