C;ty Hal 3900 Main Stree~ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF R~v:~,3i~, 3A 92522 RIVERSIDE, CALIFO~IA, PROVIDING FOR SUM~RY VACATION ~D ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF CHICAGO FR~ REC~DINQ- AVE~E, LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CO~ER OF LE CONTE ~e rn pt Pu~ s u c~ ~ to D R I VE. ~vernment ~cde ~t03 ~gBgAS Sections 8330 et se~, o~ the Streets an~ 6 Highways Code of the State of California provide for summary vacation and abandonment of streets under certain conditions; and WHEREAS the City Council finds and determines that the 9 10 11 vacation of the hereinafter described portion of Chicago Avenue right-of-way will not cut off all access to property of any person; and 12 14 ~5 16 WHEREAS the portion to be vacated is an irregularly shaped approximately 13,400 square foot section of unimproved excess right of way which was originally dedicated pursuant to the development of the adjacent Tract known as University Mesa, Unit 1, and is no longer needed because of the realignment of 17 Chicago Avenue; 18 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of 19 Riverside hereby orders the summary vacation of that portion of 20 Chicago Avenue located in the City of Riverside, County of 21 Riverside, State of California, described in the document 22 attached hereto, marked Exhibit A, and by this reference made a 23 part hereof. 24 25 IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the City Clerk of said City of Riverside shall cause a certified copy of this order, 26 attested by the City Clerk under the seal of said City, to be 27 recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Riverside CITY ATTORNEY RIVERSIDE CALl FORNIA
