0VAC~3-901 1 2 FREE RF~ORD~i~G- Exernl~t Purs~..t to eovemm~ Code S61O3 8 10 12 15 l? 18 20 21 22 26 27 RESOLUTION NO. 17653 REQUEST FOR RECORDATION Request of City Clerk for record~tio~ of this instrument, and return to, City C~erk, City Halt, 3900 Main Street A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, MAKING ITS FINDINGS AND DETERMINATIONS IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 17636; RESERVING A PERMANENT EASEMENT AND RIGHT OF WAY FOR ELECTRIC ENERGY FACILITIES, AND DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE RESERVATION OF SUCH EASEMENT; AND MAKING ITS ORDER VACATING A PORTION OF COTTONWOOD AVENUE BETWEEN BARTON ROAD AND MISSION GROVE PARKWAY NORTH, NORTHE Y OF ALESSANDRO BOULEVARD. 13E05 WHEREAS on December 4, 1990, the City Council of the City of Riverside adopted Resolution No. 17636 declaring its intention to order the vacation an approximately 30-foot-wide by 1,978-foot-long section of Cottonwood Avenue, situated between Barton Road and Mission Grove Parkway North, northerly of Alessandro Boulevard, and fixing the time and place of hearing all persons interested in the proposed vacation, pursuant to the provisions of the Public Streets, Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law, being Sections 8300 et seq. of Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS said proposed vacation was submitted to and acted upon by the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside and notice of hearing said resolution was given as provided by said Public Streets, Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law; and WHEREAS on the day fixed for the hearing the City Council heard and found and hereby finds from all of the evidence submitted that the portion of Cottonwood Avenue ordered vacated is unnecessary for present or prospective public use; CITY ATTORNEY RIVERSIDE CALl FORNI A
