1 2 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 z3 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 2] 2~ 25 26 27 CITY ATTORNEY RIVERSIDE CALl FORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 17649 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL REFUSE RATES TO BE CHARGED BY THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL WASTE CORPORATION (NEWCO) AS OF JANUARY 1, 1991 IN SANITARY ZONE 1 AND BILLED BY THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE; ESTABLISHING COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL RATES TO BE CHARGED BY NEWCO UPON THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BILLING FUNCTIONS FOR SUCH CHARGES BY NEWCO; AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 17590. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, that the commercial and industrial refuse collection rates for Sanitary Zone 1 which may be charged by the National Environmental Waste Corporation (NEWCO) as of January 1, 1991 and billed by the City of Riverside, are hereby established in the Schedule of Monthly Rates, Commercial and Industrial Refuse Collection, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference as if set forth in full herein, which schedule of rates includes an amount entitled "Dump Fee" to reflect the additional charge to NEWCO's customers which is equal to the disposal gate fee imposed by the County of Riverside on refuse contractors for use of said County's landfill sites, and which schedule of rates includes an amount entitled "Landfill Surcharge" to reflect a surcharge of 5.5% of the total commercial and industrial refuse charge including "Dump Fee" to pay for the capping of the Tequesquite Landfill. The charges hereinabove established as of January 1, 1991 shall be reflected in the billing rendered by the City of Riverside on or after February 1, 1991.
