AUTOMOBILE ALLOWANCE AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR <br />EXPENSES <br />a. Any officer or employee who is required to use said employee's personal automobile <br />in the course of employment with the City shall be reimbursed for each mile actually traveled on <br />official business at the rate of thirty-one cents (31 ¢) per mile. <br /> <br /> b. Any officer or employee who is required to travel in the performance of his or her <br />duties or to attend an authorized meeting or conference which is of benefit to the City shall be <br />reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred for transportation, meals, lodging and incidentals. <br />Automobile allowance and reimbursement for expenses shall be recommended by the department <br />head and approved by the City Manager.
