Uo person shall operate or ride a motor cycle or <br /> <br />a ~.;ctor bicycle on any Tublic street in the Ci'3~ of Riversid~at a greater <br /> <br />rate of speed than ten miles a:a hour v~hero the torr itory contiguous <br />thereto ~ closely buJ~ up . } <br /> Section 2. Lo per~;on~hall operate a motor cycle or a motor <br />bi~.ycle on any street in said City, not includ&d iff sedtion I of this <br />ordinance, at a greater rate of speed than twenty miles an hour. <br /> <br /> Section 3. i~o pc: ach shall o~jerate or ride any ~uotor bicycle <br /> <br /> or motor cycle on any sleepwalk within the limits of said city, <br /> <br /> Section ~, ~o ~person shall operate or ride any ~otor cycle or <br />motor bicycle on any public street within the City of Riversdde ~d~ere <br />the t~-rritory contiguous thereto is closely built up, without a muffler <br />affixed thereto a~_0u,~ed to -,:revent all um~eces~;ary noise and ~ept con- <br /> <br />stantly closed. ( <br /> Section 5. "Closely built rip" shall mean (a) the territory <br />conti~ous to a p~b!ic highway which Js at that point built np with <br />structures devoted ',o business, (bi the territory where for not less <br />than one quarter o'f a mile the dwelling houses on either s~de of such <br />highway average less than one hundred feet apart. <br /> <br /> Section 6. Ilo person shall o~erate ~ ride a motor cycle or a <br />motor bicycle on any public street of the City of Riversude$~ during <br />the period from one hour after sunset to one hour before sun rise, without <br />a liL~hted ~amp upon the front thereof attached in such a manner as to be <br />~-n full view of any person approaching same. <br /> <br /> Section ~.
