The L.~ayor ~nd Co~mnon Council of the City of Riverside do ordain as follows: Gee. i ,':o person s~$all within the corporate limits of the City River:'ide sell, keep or #ffer, for sale any toy pistol from which blank cartridges can be fired, or any-e~plosive canes er any dynamite explosive designed for l. nrposes of sz~msement. Sec. 2 Ho pereon shall discharge m)y toy pistol from which bla]~k cartridges can be fired, or discharge any d3nz~mite e×~losive in any street or public place in said city. Sec. 3 No person shall discharge ~ny kind of firecrackers at time within -that portion of the City of Riverside lying :'nd being between the Northerly line of Sixth Street ~nd the southerly line of Tenth Street, and between the Westerly line of Market Street ~nd the Easterly line of Lemon Street, nor upon Seventh or Eighth Streets between the ?/esterly line of Market Street snd the Westerly line ~f Almond Street ~q~x~Zx~3$~x~3~~, nor upon ~lmond Street between Seventh and Eighth Streets, nor within two hundred feet of any packing house, lumber yard, or church building, nor upon any public school gronnd in said City. Sec. 4/ Every per. on who violates ~ny of tho provisions of this Ordinance, shall be deemed ~z~lty of a z,~isdemeanor, and shall bo punished by a fine not exceeding $300.00 or by imprisonment in the City Jail not emaeeding three months or by both su?h fine snd prisonment. See. § Ordinance No. S?Z of the City of Riverside a~d all other Ordinances and p~rts of Ordinances of s~id City conflicting herewith are hereby repealed.
