OR~INANCF, NO. 104 (New Series) An Ordinance fixing the salad, les of certain officers of the City of Riverside. The }.!ayor and Common Council of the City of Riverside do ordain as follows: Section 1. That tile salary of the City Engineer shall be Two ttundred Dollars ($200.00) per month, to be paid monthly. Section 2. That the Health Officer shall be p~i'd a salary of Seventy-five Dollars ($75.00) per month, to be paid monthly, and shall receive the following fees in addition thereto, to-wit: Ten cents for registering births and Ten cents for issuing death certificates as required by the law of this State. Section 3. That the Chief of the Fire Department shall be paid a salary of One Hundred D~llars (.~lOC.O0) per month, to be paid monthly, and shall have the use of the Easterly half of the second floor of the Fire Hall as a residence for himself family during the term of his office and shall also be allowed water for said premises. Section 4. That the City Attorney shall be paid a salary of One Thousa~d Dollars (~1000.00) per year, to bo paid monthly. Section 5. That the Superintendent of Streets shall be paid a salary of One Hundred ~nd ' Fifty.~uu~-,- Dollars ((;~50.00) pep month, to be paid monthly, and shall furnish, keep in order or automob~ e and use a motorcycl-eAin ol~e~}· to facilitate quick transportation for his superintendence. Section 6. That the Chief of Police shall be paid a salsry of One Hundred Dollars (:~100.00) per month, to be paid monthly. Section ?. That the salaries of the Health Officer, City Engineer, and Chief of the Fire Department as fixed by tills or~in~nce shall take effect from the ft~.~t day of July, 19ib~
