Said permission is along and over the route not heretofore abandoned, as described in Ordinance No. ~7 (New Series), en- titled: "An ordinance of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Riverside granting to the Riverside & Arlington Railway Company, its successors and assigns, the right to construct and for a period of forty-eigj~t years to operate and maintain ~ .single or double electric railway track over, along and across certain streets and private rights of way in the City of Riverside."; adopted by t~e Common Council and approved by the Mayor of said city on the iSth day of August, 1908. Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect thirty days after the adoption and approval thereof, according to law. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be filed among the records of the said city anJ cause the same to be published once in the Riverside Morning Enterprise, a daily newspaper printed and published in the City of Riverside.
