EXPIRED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1.,~ <br /> (New Series)'" <br /> <br /> An ordinance fixing the water rates in the City of Riverside, <br />Califernia for-the year co~nencing July let, 1912, and ending <br />June 30th, 1913. <br /> <br /> The ~[ayor and Common CoUnCil of the City of l~iverside do <br /> <br />ordain as follows:- <br /> Section 1. That the r~tes of compensation to be collected <br /> by any person, compamy or corporation engaged in the business of <br /> supplying water to the inhabitants of the City of Riverside, State <br /> California, for family uses, for private purposes, for municipal <br /> uses, for irrigation, and for public purposes of the said City Sot <br /> the year commencing July let, 19lB, and ending June 30th, 1913, are <br /> hereby Nixed as follows:- <br /> <br /> Section 2. Water for domestic purpeses shall be 5elivered to <br />consumers by all ps,sons, c~npanies or corporations, collecting water <br />rates within the City o£ Riverside, when measured through meters, <br />at the following rates, to-wit:- <br /> <br /> When used for strictly domestic purposes, no water being used <br />for irmigation, or for lawns or flowers; three hundred (300) feet or <br />less per month, fifty cents (50~) per hundred feet. For every <br />additional hundred feet per month, fifte~en cents (15~) per hundred <br />feet. Srovided that no water rate bhall be less than One Dollar <br />and forty cents (.~1.40) per month for each family or separate user <br />supplied with water through said meter, and provided, further, that <br />any consumer who uses domestic water exclusively may have the same <br />meast~ed and adjusted by ~..~eter, but sush consumeP shall pay for the <br />meter and shall pay such person, companv or corporation supplying <br />the same eccordingto the quantity actually used, at the rate as <br />fixed in this section, p~'ovided, however, thst the mont~ly bill of <br />each such user, while so supplied through such meter s~!l not be <br />less than one dollar and forty cents ('.~1.40). <br /> <br /> Section ~. ¥later for domestic purposes shall be delivered to <br /> <br /> <br />
