T~ the right, privilege and franchise be and the s~e is hereby grated to the Pacific Electric l~ailway Company, its ~eeessors and assigns, to eonst~et, operate and ma~tain an electric railr~d, to be s~gle or double track, in whole or in p~t, at the option of the grantee its successors or assize, hereof,/for a period of Poky-four [44) y~rs from and after the 18th d~ of September. 1912, over the r~te and In and upon the streets or potions of streets in said city described as follows:- Begl~ing at the intersection of ~a~olia Avenue and Harrison Street In t~e City of Riverside. Together with the right to erect and ma~tain all necessary poles and wires for furnishing elec~rieity to said railroad, and to const~et and maintain all neoessa~ ~witehes, turnouts, curves, connections at street lntersee~ions and such other appliances as may be neeessa~ to the safe and proper operation of said railroad.
