It sha]] be unlawful for every ha~vker, <br />peddler or itinerant or transient merchant to sell or <br />offer for sale, to any minor child attending any of the <br />Public Schools v;ithin the limits of the City of Riverside, <br />ice-cream, soda-I;op, ginger ale, chewing gum, peanuts, <br />candies or any ~imilar articles on streets or public <br />places within four hundred feet of the exterior bound- <br />a~-ies of land, on xvhich is located any school building <br />within the limits of the City of Riverside, between the <br />hours of 8 A. 1~. and 4 P. ~. of any school day. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Any violation of the provisions of this <br />Ordinance shall constitute a misdemeanor and every person <br />found guilty of violating said provisions or any of them, <br />shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined in the sum of not <br />more than Th~'ee Hundred (~300.00) Dollars or be imprisoned <br />in the City Jail of said City for not more than three <br />months, or be punished by both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> Section 3' Ordinance Number 15~'~,ew Settee), <br />adopted by the Common Council of the City' of Riverside, <br /> <br />on the 3Otb day of July, 1913, is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
