OI~DINANOE No, 168 <br /> (New Series) <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF TIlE OITY OF RIVERSIDE }O%KINO IT THE <br />DUTY OF THE CITY OLERK TO KEEP A RECORD TO DE KNOW{ A8 <br />"~0~8~?X¥~ EXPIRATION RECORD~" <br /> <br /> The Mayor and Common Council of the City of River- <br /> <br />side dO ordain as follo~s~- <br /> <br /> Section ib- It shall be tho duty of 'the City Olerk to <br /> <br />keep a record to be kno~n as "Consecutive Ex]:iration Record" <br />in which shall be entered in consecutive order the concise <br />and essential facts in relation to every contract, cpti6n~ <br />permit, grant, franchise, order, bond, ~u~ranteo,. notice, <br />require~cent, insurance policy and term of office of every <br />elective and appointive official, and of any other thing concern- <br />ing the city's business or affairs to which there is any <br />time limit, date of expiration, or right of revooa, tion, termina- <br />tion, acceptance, rene~al or change. Each of said postings <br />shall be given a consecutive number for purpose of read~ <br />reference and identification. <br /> <br /> ~eo~ion 2~ Every date upon which any expiration occurs <br /> <br />or any action is necessary or possible, either by the city or <br />by other parties, in.oonneotion with any thing recorded in <br />said "Consecutive Ewpirati'on Record", shall be noted by <br />the City Clerk and the essential facts in relation thereto <br />shall be imn;ediately posted into a "Chronological Expira.tion <br />~eoord" under tho a'pprop-.-'i&te date. Said ?ocord may be <br />loose leaf or card index type. Every such posting for five <br />years in advance (including t~)e whole of the current calendar <br />year as one of said five years) shall be posted into the <br />appropriate month and year therefor. D~tes after said five <br />year period shall be posted only to the appropriate year. <br /> <br />At the end of any oalsndar year the items in the next' <br />~alendar year which have not been posted into the appropriate <br /> <br />Page 1. <br /> <br /> <br />
