(~ew Series) AN 0R~INAN~E ~ROVIDIN~ FOR THE MA~IH~ OF ASSE$~ENT~ AN~ CO~LECTIO~ OF TAXE~ FOR T~E CITY OF RIVErSIdE BY THE ASSE880R AND TAX COLLECTOR OF THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE; PURSUANT TO ART, XV, 8EO. 23~ OF THE OHARTER OF THE OITY OF RIVERSIDE, The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Riversihe do ordain as follows: Section 1. That the duties of the Assessor and Tax Collector of the City of Riverside, relating to the assessing and collecting of city taxes, shall be hereafter performed for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1915, by the County Assessor and County Tax Collector of the County of Riverside, State of Oalifornia, in ths manner as provided by an Act of the Legis- lature of the State of California, entitled, "An act to provide for the l,~y an~ ~oll~.t .... of taxes by and for the use of municipal corporations and cities incorporated under the laws of the 8tats of California, except municipal corporations.of the first class, and to provide for the consolidation and abolition of certain municipal offices and to provide tha~ their duties may be performed by csrtain officers of the county and fixing the compensation to be allowed for such county officers for the services so rendered to ~uch municipal corporation, 'approved ~aroh 2~, 1895'.~ Section 2. That the net amount of all taxes collect- e~ for the City of Riverside by said County Tax Collector shall be paid to the Treasurer of the City of R~verside under the general requirements and penalties provided by law for the settlement of other taxes. -1-
