EXPIt?£D Ol~Ill~tOE No. (~ew Series) ~; ORDINANOE FIXING THE ~RATEB FOR IRRIGATING WATER IN THE OITY OF RIVERBIDE, OALIFO~IA, FOR ~'HE'YEAR COMMENCING JULY let, 191~, AND ENDING JUNE 30th, 1915. The Mayor and Oommon Council of the Oity of River- side, do ordain as follows:- Section 1. That the rates of compensation to be collected by a~y person, company or corporation engaged in the business of supplying irrigating water to the water user~ of irrigating water in the Oity of Riverside, State of Cal- ifornia for the year commencing July 1st, 191~, and ending June 30th, 1915, are hereby fixed as follows:- Section 2. Water for irrigating purposes shall be delivered by the Riverside Water 0ompany &t the following rates, to-wit:- Water for irrigating purposes shall be delivered from the pipes and ditches of said Company (except as hereinafter provided), from October 1st, 191~, to April 3Oth, i~1~, inclu- sive, at the rate of Ten (lOc) cents per miner's inch for twenty-four hours~ from July let, 191~, to September ~Oth, 1~1~, and from May let, 1~1~ to June 30th, 1~1~, at the rate of Fifteen (15c) cents per miner's inch for twenty-four hoursi aore provided that the said Oompany may enter into and make ,~on~ tract with -'i~s water users and any water user shall have the option of paying Six ($6.00) Dollars per acre per annum from July let, 191~, to June ~Oth, 1915, for the following service :- " His proportion of water in the canals from the let day of October, 191~, to the 3Otb day of April, 1~1~, and inches Eight and one-half (8~)^per acre every five weeks during the Page 1.
