The Mayor and Common Council of the 0ity of Biverside~ do ordain as follows:- Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 9, (New Series), be and the same is hereby amended to read as folio'we Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any p~rson to keep more than one cow with her calf upon any lot of land measuring 7500 square feet, mo~'e,,d~ l~A;-.within that portion of the Oity of Riverside hereinafter in this Section described; provided, however, that it shall be un- lawful to keep a calf with its dsm on such 'lot' after it has reached the age of six weeks. The portion of the City o~ Riverside hereinabove referred to, is described as follows, to-wit:- Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Pepper Street prolonged Northerly with the center line of First Street, prolonged Westerly, and running thence Easterly along said extension of the center line of First Street and along the center line of First Street to the intersection of the center line of Vine Street; thence Southerly along the center line of Vine Street to the cen- ter line of Third Street; thence Easterly along the center line of Third Street and the center line of Third Street extended to the center line of Comer Avenuej thence in a straight line paxallel with B. laine Street Easterly to the center line of Kansas Avenue~ thence along the center line of Kansas Avenue to the center line of Moody Avenue; thence . along the center line of Moody Avenue to the center line of Sedgwick Street; thence along the South lin.e of Cox's Ad- dition to the center line of Twelfth Street~ thence along the center line of Twelfth Street to the center ll~e of Paxk Avenue; thence along the center line of Park Avenue to the Northerly bank of the Tequesquite arroyo;thence along the Northerly bank of the Tequesquite arroyo to the center line of Cypress Avenue; thence along the center line of Cypress Ave~ hue to the center line of Fourteenth Street; thence along the center line of Fourteenth Street to the center line of Pepper Street; thence Northerly along the center line of Pepper Street and the center line of Pepper Street extended to the point of beginning. Section 2. The Oity Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify to the passage of this Ordinance Page 1.
