ASSESS0R A};D TAX COLLECTOR OF THE COUNTY OF RIVF~$JDE, .PURSUAI~P TO ART. XV, .SEC. 254 OF TH~' CHARTF~ OF THE CITY OF RIVF~SIDI~., The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Rivel~side do ordain as folio%ye: Section 1. Th~.t the duties of the Assessor and Tax Collector of the City of Riverside, relating to the assessing end collecting of city t~xes, shall be hereafter performed for the fiscal year ehding June 50, 1916, by the County Assessor and County Tax Collector of the County of Riverside, 8tare of California, in the manner ss provided by an Act of the lature of the 8tare of California, entitled, "An act to provide for the levy and collection of rexes by and for the use of municipal corporations and cities tncorpor~.ted under the laws cf the State of California, except municipal corporations of the first claes, and to provide for the consolidation and abolition of certain municipal offices and to provide that their duties ms.y be performed by certain officers of the county and fixing the compensation to be allowed for such county officers for the services so rendered to such municipal corpor- ation, 'approved ]~arch 27, 1895~.'' Section 2. That the net smount of all taxes collected for the City of Riverside by said County Tax Collector shall be pa~d to the Treasurer of the City of Riverside under the general requirements ~nd penalties provided by law for the settlement of other taxes, Section 5.
