AND OPERATE, OR TO .HAINTAIN AND OPERATE, AIT E!,ECTRIC RAILROAD OVER AND AOROSS CERTAIN · qTRE[~T8 AUD HIOHWAYS Ii~ THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, WHEREAS, the Pacific Electric Railway Comps. ny has, by petition in writing, applied to the City cf Riverside for ~ franchise ov~',' ~and along the '.'oute~ and over and across and upon the etz~et~ or portions of streets in said City as hereinafter described, and !.H{EREAS, the Pacific Electric Railway Company, in consideration of the grant cf said franchise, hs.s agreed, ut~n demand of said City, to convey to sa'{d City for stre-~t pu?poses, a right of way Sixty-six (66) feet in width the vout.~ hereinafter described, for the purpose of connect- ing St. Andrews Boulevard, as shown upon a plat of St. Andrews Tee'races, recorded in Book 7 of :.{ape, ~t page thereof, records of Hivezeids County, California, or so much of said strip of laud necessary for said purpose as said Pacific Electric Railway Company now owns or shall hereafter acquire, and WHEREAS, said Pacific Electric Railway Ccmp?,ny has agreed, at its own cost and ext~ense, and upon demand of said City of Riverside, to oonst~%ot a ~ubw~y beneath its tracks on St. Andrews Boulevard to the full width of the street, NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, the'He:/or and Common Council of- the City of Rive','sido~ do ordain as follows:- Pag~ 1.
