AN ORDIN~{OE OF THE OIT¥ OF RIVERSIDE PROHIBITINO OERTAIN SPEOIFIED ENTERTAIN~T8 OR EXHIBITIONS TO BE OARRIED ON IN THE OIT¥ OF RIVERSIDE WITHIN A 8PEOIFIED DISTRIOT.' The Mayor and Common Oounoil of the Otty of Riverside, do ordain as follows:~ Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to show, exhibit or carry on in a tent, any musical, rope, wire-dancing, magic, leger- demain or theatrical exhibitions or entertainmentswhere a price ofadmission is asked or charged or contribution so- ltcitedt, within that certain district of the Oity of RiverL si~e described as follows, to-wit:- Beginning at the intersection of First Street and COlton Avenue in said Olty~ thence r~ning westerly along First Street to its intersection with Pine Street; thence running southerly on Pine Street to its inter~eoti~n with Fourth Street; thence running westerly along Fourth Street to its intersection with Pepper Street; thence running southerly on Pepper Street to its intersection with Fourteenth Street; thence running easterly along Fourteenth Street to its intersection with Pachappa Avenue; thence running north- erly along Pachappa Avenue to the place of beginning. Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a miedemeanbr and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not more than Three Hundred $300,00) Dollars, or by imprisonment in the Oity Jail for a period of not more than one hundxed (100) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
