The City Planning Commission in and for the <br />City of Riverside, is hereby created and established. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The said City Planning Commission shall be <br />composed of Eight (8) members, five of who~\.shall be ~ppointed <br />by the M~yor of the Olty, and one of which five so a~pointed <br />by the Mayor of said Oity, shall be & duly q,~l ifAed and acting <br />Councilman of said City. The M&yor, the Oity Attorney and the <br />Olty Engineer shall be ex~offioio full members of said Commission. <br />At the first meeting of the Commission, the five appointed mem- <br />bers of the first Commission so appointed hexeunder, shall ~o <br />classify themselves by lot, that one of their number shall go <br />out of office &t the end of the first current oalendax year; <br />one ~t the end of two years thereafter; one at the end of three <br />yeaxs thereafter~ and one at the end of four yeaxs thereafter. <br />Subsequent appointments made at the expiration of the term of any <br />Commissioner, shall be for the full term of five years. V&oan- <br />eisa for ~y unexpired term, shall be filled by appointm~t, as <br />in the first instance, and such member so appointed shall hold <br />office for the unexpired portion of said term. Two non- resi- <br />dents shall be eligible to mppointment on the said Oity Planning <br />Commi ss ion. <br /> <br />Page 1. <br /> <br /> <br />
