That Section i4 of Ordinance No. 409 (New Series) bo, and <br />the same is hereby, ~ended to read as £ollows~ <br /> ~:~"Section 14. Non-conforming Use. p~rovi~si~n. <br /> <br /> (a) Any' otherwisO la~ul use existing in any building ~or premises at <br />the time of tho adoption o£ this ordinance or any ~endrnent hereto af£eebillg <br />such building or premises may bd cOntinued therein, although not conforming <br />to the regulations of tho zone or district in Which such building or premises <br />is situatedl or such non-conforming use may be changed or converted into any <br />other uso that is permitted by this ordinance (other:~han by the provisions <br />of this section) in the' same zone or district. <br /> <br /> (b) No building, struoture~ improvement or establishment existing at <br />the time of the adoption of this ordinmtoo or of an~ maondment hereto affeodlng <br />such building, structure, 'improvement or establis~mient, which is designed, <br />arranged or tntehded for or devoted to a use not permitted in tho zone or dis- <br />trier in which such building, structure, improvemen~ or establistment is loca- <br />ted, shall be enlarged, extended, reconstructed, rep~ired~'ebutit, moved or <br />altered, unless such use is changed to a uso permitted in the zone or district <br />in v~nioh such building, structure, improvement or establishment is locatedl <br />provided, however, that work done in any period of twelve months on ordinary <br />structural alteratibns or replacement of vmllS, roo£s, fixtures or plumbing <br />not to exceed a cost o£ equal to twenty (20) pet' centtm of the reproduction <br />value of tho building, structure or improvement (v~5ch is hereby defined to <br />be-the actual value o£ the building, structure or improvenent' in its then <br />existing depreciated condition) shall be permitt~dl but the cubical content's <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
