BM CREATING A~ ESTABL~SH~N0~A NEW ZONE TO BE KNOWN AS zoNE "0", The Mayor and council of the City of Riverside, a mUnicipal corPoratiOn, do ordain as follows: Section 1. Ordinance No, 616 (New serieS) is hereby amended by adding a new Section thereto to be known as Section 22~, reading as followsl "SectiOn 2B~. zone "0!' or .0il Drillinm Zone,.A~lything to-t~e '~Oht~ai~y herein no~- w-t-~standing, there is ~ereby 4reSted and established in the Oiby of Riverside, a class of Use zones or districts in addition to those heretofore established~ the boun- daries of which may overl,a,P an'y part Of any one or mOre Other zones o~ districts hereby established and which are hereby designated as Zones "0" or oil Drilling Zones. That anything to the contragy herein notwith- standing, buildingS, structures or premises in such Zones "0" may be erected~ construct- ed, altereds maintained or used for the pur- pose of drilling or prospecting for oil, gas or other hydrocarbon substances, subject, however, to the provision that no portion of any Well, derrick, bUilding or structure erected~ cons~'rUcted, maintained or used for. such p~rpose shall be located nearer than three-hundred feet to any house occupied as a dwelling~ and subject to the provisions of any other Ordinance or OrdinanCes of the City of Riverside applicable thereto. That the boundaries of said Zones "0" are hereby established and shall be as follOWs: All that portion of the City of Riverside boUnded on the South by the Northerly line of Hanton Street, bounded on the East by the Westerly line of MArion S_~reet and said line extended NOrtherly and So~therl~,bom~d- ed on the North by the Santa Aha River and bounded on the West by the Northerly City Limits of the City of Riverside.
