1 6 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 lO 17 18 19 2O 21 22 23 27 28 29 3O 31 32 The Mayor and Council of the Oity of RiVerside do ordain as follows: SeCtion i: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm ov corporation, or the agent oS employee of any person, firm or corporation, resell, expose for sale, barber, or exchange for other thing of value, within the City of Riverside, any beef, veal, mutton, pork, goats or meat food products without having such beef, veal, mUtton, pork, goats or meat food products first inspected by the State Meat In- specter under the Director of Agriculture of the State of California as defined by Division III, Chapter I, Article 1 of the California Agricultural Code and bearing the stamp upon such beef~ veal, mutton, pork, goats ov meat food products, the words "California, inspected and passed," or inspected by the United States inspector and bearing the stamp "U. S. in- spected and passed," or a stamp of municipal inspection officially approved by the California Department of Agricul- ture. Ail inspection of meat and meat food products by the City of Riverside shall be conducted in accordance with the meat inspection rules and regulations of the California Depart- ment of Agriculture. SeCtion 2~ Any perSon, firm or corporation, or agent or employee of any such person, firm or corporation, who violates any provision of SectiOn 1 of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than Five Hbtudred Dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the City Jail for not more than thirty (30)
