Tho Mayor and Council of [the City of Riverside do ordain as follows~ Section 1~ I~ shall be ~he duty of every person mentioned in Section 2 hereof to provide or cause %o be provided, and all ~imes to keep and maintain, or cause ~o be kept and main- rained, as in this ordin~ce prescribed, a receptacle or recepta- cles, Constructed of either me~al, wood, o~ compost~ion~ suffioien~ in size, singUl~ly or collectively, ~o hold a month's aoo~Ula~ion of used'~tn cans. Section 2: It shall be ~hs dgtY o~ every person occupy- ing any dwelling, apartment, flat, room, house car, tratle~., or other similar place, ~d of every owner, m~a~eP or person cha~ge or control of any boarding ~ouse, res~aurant~ hotel, c~p gro~d, eatinE place, kitchen, cannery, bakery, meat market, fish ma~ke~, frui~ marke~, vegetable marke~, or simllau place in S~i%ary Zone 1, in ~he City of Riverside, California as defined in Subsection 1 of Section 18 of Ordinance No. 859 (New Series) of said City, as ~aended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 886 (New Series), in connection wi~h which food is p~epared, treated, cons~ed or sold and garbage or rubbish is acc~nula~ed, ~d by such of said persons in Sanitary Zone 2, as defined in Subsection 2 of Section 18 oF said Ordinance No. 859 (Ne~ Series), requesting sanitation service, ~o deposi~ all used tin. cans then aoc~ula%ed at ~heir said places, in said ceptacles and ~o place said receptacles at the cur~ of ~he street in front of ~heir said places o~ business or residence by o'clock A.M. of the first day o~ each calendar month, excluding -1- %0{
