1 <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> ? <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />lZ <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />ZO <br /> <br />~4 <br /> <br />~5 <br /> <br />Z6 <br /> <br />Z8 <br /> <br />~9 <br /> <br />SO <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 277~ <br />AN OR~mm~C~ O~..T~ C~Y OF ~V~RS~, CAL~iFOR~L% <br />REGUIATi~' T~:U~ OF' T~ S~m0~ FA~iL~- <br />~E C'~ OF R~IDE By PERSON8'~1F~' ~y- <br />n~ oN' ~ ~SS OF ~' ~ c~n~ ~c <br /> <br />SEEPAOE P~8. <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Riverside does ordain as follows: <br /> Section li A6~S PROHIBITED. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to dispose or discharge auy <br />cleanings, wastes, chemicals, waters, or sewage pumped or cleaned from any <br />septic tank, cesspool, chemical toilet or sewage seepage pit: <br /> <br /> (a) Without first complying with the provisions of this <br /> <br />ordinance; <br /> <br /> (b) At or into any public sanita~7 sewer plant, connection, <br />opening or manhole other than the Riverside Sewage Treatment Plant or at a place <br />designated by the Riverside Se~ge Treatment Plant Superintendent. <br /> <br /> Section 2: PERMITS AND FEES. <br /> <br /> No person, firm, partnership, or corporation carrying on or engaged <br />~in the business of pumping or cleaning septic tanks, cesspools, chemical toilets <br />or sewage seepage pits, shall dispose or discharge wastes as herein specified at <br />any time ~rithout a written permit first obtained from the Public Service Depart- <br />ment. The applicant for the permit shall reveal such information as the Director <br />of Public Service may require including the address of the person or firm re- <br />questing disposal or discharge. The fee for such permit shall be in accordance <br />with the following schedule: <br /> <br /> (a) ~ For each load of the cleanings from any address within the <br />City limits, the fee of $5.00 per load. <br /> <br /> (b) For each load of the cleanings from any address located out- <br />side Of the City limits, the fee of $50.00 per load. <br /> <br /> Section 3: PERMISSIBLE LOADS. <br /> <br /> When in the opinion of the Superintendent of the Sewage Treatment <br />Plant, or his agent, a waste loa~d is unfit or unsafe for discharge, he may refuse <br />to pe~mzit discharge; in which event refund of any permit fee paid shall be made <br /> <br /> <br />
