The purpose of this chapter <br />is to provide for the payment of a fee for each <br />nonresidential unit, new residential dwelling unit and <br />new mobilehome space; said fee to be placed in a <br />specially designated fund to be utilized for the <br />acquisition and improvement of neighborhood, community, <br />and city-wide parks in general accord with the city <br />general plan as adopted November 12, 1969, by city <br />council Resolution No. 11386, including all subsequent <br />amendments thereto." <br /> <br />Section 2: Subsection (a) of Section 16.06,035 of the <br /> <br />Riverside Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "(a) The property being dedicated is shown on the <br />Riverside General Plan as a neighborhood, community, or <br />city-wide park." <br /> <br />Section 3: Section 16.06.050 of the Riverside Municipal <br /> <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "16.06.050 USE OF FUNDS. A special park <br />development fee fund is established and all fees <br />collected pursuant to the chapter shall be deposited <br />therein. The funds shall be expended solely for the <br />acquisition or improvement of neighborhood, community <br />and city-wide parks in general conformance with the <br />priorities established by the General Plan as adopted on <br />November 12, 1969, by city council Resolution No. 11386, <br />including subsequent amendments thereto and the six-year <br />capital improvement program." <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />RIVE RSI DE <br /> CALl FORNIA <br /> <br /> <br />
