1 <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br /> 10 <br /> <br /> 11 <br /> <br /> 12 <br /> <br /> 13 <br /> <br /> 14 <br /> <br /> 15 <br /> <br /> 16 <br /> <br /> 17 <br /> <br /> 18 <br /> <br /> 19 <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5369 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, <br />AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4768 GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO <br />GOODHEW AMBULANCE SERVICE BY AMENDING SECTION ll(d) <br />THEREOF TO CHANGE THE INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS AND BY <br />AMENDING SECTION ll(f) THEREOF TO CHANGE THE RESPONSE <br />TIME STANDARDS AND BY AMENDING IN ITS ENTIRETY SECTION <br />12 REGARDING STANDARDS FOR RESPONSE TIME AND COVERAGE. <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, <br />does ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Ordinance No. 4768 of the City Council of <br />the City of Riverside is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) Section ll(d) of said ordinance is amended in its <br /> <br />entirety as follows: <br /> <br />"Section ll(d): Grantee shall secure and maintain at <br />all times a policy or policies of insurance in the <br />following categories and minimum amounts: Public <br />liability and property damage ~1,000,000 combined single <br />limit. Grantee shall file certificate or evidence of <br />such coverage with the City Clerk." <br /> <br />(b) Section ll(f) of said ordinance is amended in its <br /> <br />entirety as follows: <br /> <br />"Section ll(f): A driver and attendant trained in <br />cardiopulmonary resuscitation shall respond in 10 <br />minutes or less in ninety-five percent of the emergency <br />responses. Additionally, they must possess proof of <br />having been trained and having met the standards <br />commensurate with the level, or higher, which currently <br />satisfies the State of California and/or Local Emergency <br />Medical Service Agency Requirements. <br /> <br />(c) Section 12 of said ordinance is amended in its <br /> <br />entirety as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 12: The City Council of the City of Riverside <br />declares that public convenience, necessity and welfare <br />require a sufficient number of ambulances and crews to <br />meet the response times within the City of Riverside as <br />required herein.
