1 <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> ,t <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />2O <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />28 <br /> <br />29 <br /> <br />30 <br /> <br />31 <br /> <br />32 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3658 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, MAKING ITS ORDER VACATING <br />A PORTION OF GAGE STREET AND PORTIONS OF COLUMBUS <br />AVENUE, AND RETAINING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS on October 7, 1969, the City Council of the City <br />of Riverside adopted Resolution No. 11363 declaring its <br />intention to order the vacation of a portion of Gage Street <br />and portions of Columbus Avenue and fixing the time and place of <br />hearing all persons interested in the proposed vacation, pursuant <br />to the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941, being S <br />Sections 8300 et seq. of Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and <br />Highways Code of the State of California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS said proposed vacation was submitted to and acted <br />upon by the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside and <br />notice of hearing said resolution was given as provided by said <br />Street Vacation Act of 1941; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS on the day fixed for the hearing the City Council <br />heard and considered the evidence offered by persons interested <br />and found and hereby finds from all of the evidence submitted <br />that the portions of said streets ordered vacated are unnecessary <br />for present or prospective public use. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Riverside <br />does ordain that the following portions of streets in the City <br />of Riverside, County of Riverside, State of California, described <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) PORTION OF GAGE STREET <br /> <br /> Ail that portion of Gage Street (formerly Norton <br />Street) of Tract No. 4 of the Riverview Addition to <br />the City of Riverside, as per map recorded in Book 7, <br />page 6 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder <br />of Riverside County, California, more particularly <br />described as follows: <br /> <br /> Commencing at the northeast corner of Block 20 <br />of said Tract No. 4, said point being in the southerly <br />right of way line of said Gage Street; <br /> <br /> <br />
