6 6 ? 8 9 10 11 12 1.4 16 16 17 18 19 20 21. 24 ~5 26 27 28 29 30 32 ORDINANCE NO. 3714 AN ORDINANCE OF TIIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 19 OF THE RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL CODE BY ALTERING CERTAIN REGULATIONS DEALING WITH DRIVE-IN RESTAURANT AND' TAKE-OUT FOOD ESTABLISHMENT USES, INCLUDING, IN PART, OBTAINING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN DRIVE-iN RESTAURANT USES, AND RELATED PROVISIONS. The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, does ordain as follows: SECTION 1: Chapter 19.04 of the Riverside Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding thereto a new Section 19.04.127 to read as follows: "19.04.127 DRIVE-IN RESTAURANT. 'A restaurant designed and o~erated for the purpose of serving the motorist either in his auto from an exterior servic~ window or similar facility or from a drive-through service window and where consumption occurs primarily on the site.'" SECTION 2: Chapter 19.04 of the Riverside Muni~ipal Code is hereby amended by adding thereto a new Section 19.04.478 to read as follows: "19.01t.478 TAKE-OUT FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. 'A facility which sells prepared food from inside a building for consumption primarily off the site.'" SECTION 3: Subparagraph (45) of Section 19.30.020 of the Riverside Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "(45) Restaurant, take-out food establishment, cafe or cocktail lounge;" SECTION 4: Section 19.30.020 of the Riverside Municipal Code is hereby further amended by adding thereto a new subparagraph (62~ to read as follows: "(62) Drive-in restaurants subject to the granting of a conditional use permit and in accord- ance with the following provisions: Site Loe~tion-Criteria.
