OIl <br /> <br />GRANT DEED <br /> <br />])x - 1479 <br /> <br />For valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, a California charter city, (the "Graator"), hereby grants and <br />conveys to UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, a Delaware corporation (the <br />"Grantee"), fee title to that certain real property ("Exchange Pan::elj commonly known as <br />Assessor's Pan::el Numbers 187-23~ 187-230-003 and 187-230-004 located within the City <br />of Riverside, County of Riverside, State of California, as more particularly described in the lepI <br />description attached as Exhibit "A", and as depicted on the diagram attached as Exhibit "8", and <br />incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />This grant is made on the express condition, and the Onmtee herein covenants by and for <br />itself and it successors and assigns, and all persons claiming under or through them, that there <br />shall be no discrimination against or segregation o( any person or group of persons on account <br />of race, color, creed, religion, handicap, sex, marital status, national origin or ancestry in the sale, <br />lease, sublease, transfer, use, occupancy, tenure or enjoyment of the land bereiB conveyed, nor <br />shall the Grantee itself or any person claiming under or through it, establish or permit any such <br />practice or practices of discrimination or segregation with reference to the selection, location, <br />number, use or occupancy of tenants, lessees, subtenants, sublessees or vendees in the land <br />herein conveyed.
