J. HOLE RANCH AND THE WATER <br />RIGHTS III CONliECTION T!IERE.'\'IITH. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1794 (liEfl SERIES) <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />VffiEREAS, the Counoil of the City of Riverside is intensely interested <br /> <br />in the development and upbuilding of the City of Riverside, and other areas <br /> <br />in Riverside County; and <br /> <br />\~lliREASJ a Committee appointed by former Governor Young, and composed <br /> <br />of very eminent persons, selected a certain tract on the W. J. Hole Ranch <br /> <br />for a hospital, for certain types of patients; and <br /> <br />WI-:lEREAS J a great deal of misinformatibn--.is now being gfven and cir- <br />culated conce~ing this location by persons who seom to be actuated by <br /> <br />personal motives; and <br /> <br />WIIERF1AS, the Council of the City of Riverside desires to have the real <br /> <br />facts relating to the site and water rights presented to the Gove~or of tho <br /> <br />State of California, and other State Officials; and <br /> <br />\r.HEREAS, at the present time, Frank A. Tetley, from his wide knowledge <br /> <br />of lands and wnter rights in Southern California, and his long and suocess- <br /> <br />ful ovmership and dealings in lands and ~uter rights, is exceedingly ~~ll <br /> <br />22 posted on such matters; <br />23 Nail THEP,EFORE BE I1' RESOLVED, 'that Frank A. Tetley be, and he is here- <br /> <br />24 by, requested to represent the City of Riverside, and present to Governor <br /> <br />25 James Rolph Jr., Dr. J. l!. Toner, and other State Of1'ici8.ls, all tho facts <br /> <br />1 26 and information concerning the site on the W. J.
