1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 CITY ATTORNEY RIVERSIDE CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 16022 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, WITHDRAWING FROM THE HIGHGROVE HIGHWAY LIGHTING DISTRICT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 19290 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE THAT AREA ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE DESIGNATED AS "LAFCO NO. 85-75-5, ANNEXATION NO. 53 TO THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE". WHEREAS that certain area known as "Annexation No. 53 (Revised)--Springbrook Groves" and designated a "LAFCO No. 85-75-5, Annexation No. 53 to the City of Riverside" is included within the Highgrove Highway Lighting District created pursuant to the provisions of the Highway Lighting District Act; and WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of Section 35355 of the Government Code of the State of California, the Resolution of the City Council of the City of Riverside ordering the annex- ation to the City of Riverside of "LAFCO No. 85-75-5, Annexation No. 53 to the City of Riverside" provided that said annexation shall become effective as of March 1, 1986; and WHEREAS under the provisions of Section 19290 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, a portion of such a Lighting District may be withdrawn from said Lighting District when it is included within a city by annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside as follows: Section 1: Portions of the Highgrove Highway Lighting District described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorpor- ated herein by this reference, annexed to the City of Riverside under the provisions of the Municipal Organization Act of 1977
