3 <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br /> 10 <br /> <br /> 11 <br /> <br /> 12 <br /> <br /> 13 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 16007 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING WAIVER OF <br /> FORMAL BIDDING AS REQUIRED BY RESOLUTION NO. 14797, <br /> WITH RESPECT TO THE MOVING OF THE HOUSE AT 3451 <br /> PROSPECT STREET TO THE CITY'S CORPORATION YARD <br /> IN THAT IT WOULD BE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO PREPARE <br /> SPECIFICATIONS SETTING FORTH THE METHODOLOGY TO <br /> BE USED FOR THE MOVE, THE BEST ROUTE AND STORAGE <br /> TECHNIQUES, AND RELATED MATTERS, AND AUTHORIZING <br /> THE ISSUANCE OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO HOUSE <br /> MOVERS IN ORDER TO UTILIZE THEIR EXPERTISE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS Clinton Marr has agreed to donate the house <br /> <br />at 3451 Prospect Street for use in the State Citrus Heritage <br />Park; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the State Department of Parks and Recreation <br />have inspected said house and have determined that it wishes <br />to utilize said house in the Citrus Heritage Park, but currently <br />has no budgeted monies for moving of the house and related <br />costs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS said Department of Parks and Recreation has <br />agreed to include money in their 1986-87 budget with the hope <br />that said funds will not be cut out by the Legislature or the <br />Governor; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS if the house is to be preserved and used in <br /> <br />the Citrus Heritage Park and because of the short lead time <br />involved and prescribed by the owner, Clinton Marr, the City <br />will have to be a party to this transaction by having said <br />house moved to the City's Corporation Yard, where it will be <br />stored for three to four years until it can be moved to the <br />park site; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City has infrequently been involved in the <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />RIVER,SIDE <br />CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> <br />
