AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT SERVICES This Amendment to Agreement is made and entered into this 21st day of October , 1998, by and between the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Riverside, a public entity, hereinafter referred to as "Agency," and Diane Hadland, 7157 Alvern Street #211, Los Angeles, CA 90045, hereinafter referred to as "Consultant." WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, on March 24, 1998, the Agency and Consultant entered into an Agreement for Contract Staff Services and Professional Consulting Services; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3 of the Agreement the term thereof was to be for the period of March 24,1998 to June 30,1999; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Exhibit "c" of the Agreement, Consultant's compensation for such services were not to exceed $25,000; and WHEREAS, contract staff and consulting needs of the Redevelopment Agency for the 1998/99 fiscal year will require extending the term and increasing the original amount of the Agreement; and WHEREAS, Consultant has affirmed its willingness and ability to continue to perform such work. NOW, THEREFORE, Agency and Consultant mutually agree as follows: 1. That Section 3, Term, of said Agreement be amended to read as follows: The term of this Agreement shall be from March 24, 1998 to September 30, 1999, unless earlier terminated as provided herein. 2. That Exhibit "c" of said Agreement be amended to read as follows: The Agency will compensate the Consultant on an hourly basis according to the following fee schedule, which will remain in effect through September 30, 1999, at which point new rates may be negotiated.
