1 2 3 5 6 7 8 9 10 12 ~3 14 15 ~6 18 ~9 20 21 23 24 25 26 27 RESOLUTION NO. 16362 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, HIRING BOND COUNSEL, SPECIAL COUNSEL AND AN UNDERWRITER WITH RESPECT TO THE PROPOSED REFUNDING OF THE RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL BONDS; AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR FEBRUARY 10, 1987, AT 1:30 P.M., TO CONSIDER THE PROPOSAL. WHEREAS, the City of Riverside (the "City") is a municipal corporation and charter city duly organized and existing under a freeholders' charter pursuant to which the City has the right and power to make and enforce all laws and regulations in respect to municipal affairs and certain other matters in accordance with and as more particularly provided in Sections 3, 5 and 7 of Article XI of the Constitution of the State of California, Section 200 of Article II of the Charter of the City (the "Charter") and Section 1108 of Article XI of the Charter; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City (the "Council"), acting under and pursuant to the powers reserved to the City under Sections 3, 5 and 7 of Article XI of the Constitution of the State of California and Section 200 of Article II and Section 1108 of Article XI of the Charter, has by adoption of Ordinance No. 5338 enacted the City of Riverside Health Facilities Financing Law (the "Law") establishing a procedure for the authorization, issuance and sale of revenue bonds by the City for the purpose, inter alia, of providing financing for health facilities as specififed therein; and WHEREAS, the Riverside Community Hospital has requested the City to proceed with the issuance of up to forty-eight CITY ATTORNEY RIVERSIDE CALIFORNIA
