1 <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />ll <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br /> 20 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />2~ <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5494 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, <br />AMENDING SECTION 1.01,115 OF THE RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL <br />CODE TO PROVIDE THAT THE PLANNING DIRECTOR AND THE <br />PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR AND SUCH EMPLOYEES SUPERVISED <br />BY SAID DIRECTORS CHARGED WITH THE ENFORCEMENT OF <br />ZONING AND BUILDING ORDINANCES SHALL HAVE THE POWER <br />TO ISSUE FIELD CITATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION <br />836.5 OF THE CALIFORNIA PENAL CODE. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Riverside does ordain as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 1.01,115 of the Riverside Municipal <br /> <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />" 1.01,115 ISSUANCE OF CITATIONS. The Planning <br />Director and the Public Works Director and such <br />employees supervised by the Directors charged with the <br />enforcement of the City's zoning ordinances and <br />regulations and the City's building and construction <br />ordinances and regulations shall have the power to <br />arrest or to issue a written Notice to Appear to any <br />person who violates such ordinances and regulations as <br />set forth in Titles 16 and 19 of this Code in the manner <br />provided by Section 836.5 of the California Penal Code. <br />Every City employee charged with the enforcement of the <br />parking regulations of the City as set forth in Title 10 <br />of this Code shall have the power to arrest or to issue <br />a written Notice to Appear in the manner provided by <br />Section 836.5 of the California Penal Code to any person <br />who violates the regulations of Chapter 13.20 of this <br />Code relating to the Pedestrian Mall." <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption <br /> <br />o~ ~hls ordinance and cause publication once in a newspaper of <br /> <br />general circulation in accordance with Section 414 of the <br />Charter of the City of Riverside.
