1 <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> ? <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br /> 10 <br /> <br /> 11 <br /> <br /> 12 <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />~8 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br /> 20 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />2~ <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 5473 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, <br /> AMENDING SECTION 14.08,200 OF THE RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL <br /> CODE ESTABLISHING THE ANNUAL SEWER CONNECTION PERMIT <br /> AVAILABILITY FOR RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT BY AMENDING <br /> SUBSECTION (a) TO INCREASE THE 1986 SEWER CONNECTION <br /> PERMIT ALLOCATION BY PROVIDING AN ADDITIONAL 14 <br /> PERMITS IN THE MULTI-FAMILY CATEGORY. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS by Ordinance No. 5041 adopted on November 16, <br />1982, the City Council of the City of Riverside repealed the <br />limited residential sewer moratorium established by Ordinance <br />No. 4636, and provided for a sewer quota program for all resi- <br />dential development based on the 1978 SCAG population projec- <br />tions for Riverside, the design capacity of the sewer treatment <br />plant to provide service until 1990 and the historic average of <br />building permits in Riverside by adding a new Section 14.08,200 <br />to the Riverside Municipal Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS there will be a limited capacity available in <br />the sewer treatment plant for residential purposes for the next <br />two or three years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS by Ordinance No. 5440 adopted on September 9, <br />1986, the City Council added a new Subsection (g) to provide for <br />the immediate availability of 300 sewer connection permits from <br />the 1987 allocation and 300 sewer connection permits from the <br />1988 allocation for multi-family developments; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the sewer connection permits for multi-family <br />developments have now been committed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS in July 1986, the Land Use Committee of the City <br />Council, after meeting with representatives of the building <br />industry, recommended and approved the establishment of a <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />RIVERSIDE <br />CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> <br />
