The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, <br />herein called the City Council, proposes to order the construction <br />of the herein described sidewalks, and the doing of the herein <br />described incidental, appurtenant and auxiliary work, in the herei~ <br />specified portions of Garfield Street and Canterbury Road, in the <br />herein described proposed Garfield Street Assessment District, in <br />the City of Riverside, and to specially assess the whole amount of <br />the costs and expenses and incidental expenses thereof upon the <br />lands in the proposed Garfield Street Assessment District, the <br />public streets and easements owned by the City of Riverside to be <br />excepted; by proceedings pursuant to the Improvement Act of 1911. <br /> <br /> 2. The general nature, location and extent of the proposed <br />public work and improvement is constructing standard property line <br />cement concrete sidewalks 5 feet wide in both sides of a portion <br />of Garfield Street, from its intersection with Canterbury Road <br />extending in front of Lots Nos. 29 to 48, inclusive of Canterbury <br />Road Tract as per map on file in Map Book 26 pages 1 and 2 of <br />Riverside County Records; and in the portion of the northeasterly <br />side of Canterbury Road, for its intersection with Garfield Street <br />extending along the southwesterly lot line of said Lot 48 of <br />Canterbury Road Tract; constructing cement block walls; removing <br />trees and shrubs, grading and doing earthwork and finishing the <br />project; and doing incidental, appurtenant and auxiliary work; all <br /> <br /> <br />
