? 8 9 10 12 14 16 16 17 18 19 2O 24 26 27 5O RESOLUTION NO. 1161~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA~ RECITING THE FACT OF THE SPECIAL MuNiciPAL ELECTION HELD IN THE FOURTH WARD OF SAID CITY ON THE 5TH DAY OF JANUARY, 1971; DECLARING TRE RESULT THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS ARE PROVIDED BY LAW. WHEREAS a SpeCial Municipal Election was held and conducted in the Fourth Ward of the City of Riverside, County of Riverside, State of California, on Tuesday the 5th day of January, 1971, as required by law; and WHEREAS notice of said election was duly and regularly given in 'time, form and manner as provided by law; that voting precincts were properly established; that election officers were appointed and that in all respects said election was held and the returns made and declared in time, form and manner as required by City of Riverside and California for the holding Riverside; and the provisions of the Charter of the the Elections Code of the State of of public elections in the City of WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11587 adopted the 24th day of November, 1970, the City Clerk of the City of Riverside canvassed the returns of said election and had certified the results to this City Council; said results are received, attached and made a part hereof as "Exhibit NOW, THEREFORE, the California, does RESOLVE Section 1: That City Council of the City of Riverside, as follows: there were twenty (20) voting precincts established for the purpose of holding said Special Municipal Election consisting of the consolidation of the thirty-six (36) regular of Riverside elections.
