1 4 8 lO 14 16 17 18 RESOLUTION NO. 11626 A RESoLUTIoN OF THE CiTY COUNCIL OF TNE CITY Of' NIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 6 OF RESOLUTION NO. 11446 DEALING WITN MEETING AND CONI.'EHRING IN GOOD FAITR AS BETWEEN FORMALLY RECOGHIZED EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATIONS AND CITY REPRESENTATIVES. The City Council of the City of Riverside resolve that Section 6 of Resolution No. 11446 is amended to read as follows: " SECTION 6. MEET AND (A.) The City, through its shall meet and confer in good faith with does hereby hereby CONFER IN GoOD FAITH-sCOPE representatives, representatives of formally recognized employee organizations with majority representation rights regarding matters within the scope of representation including wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment within the appropriate unit. (B.) The City and recognized employee organiza- tions shall not be required to meet and confer in good faith on any subject preempted by Federal or State law or by the City Charter, nor shall they be required to meet and confer in good faith on Employee or City Rights as defined in Sections 4 and 5. Proposed amendments to this Resolution are excluded from the scope of meeting and conferring. (C.) The Municipal Employee Relations Officer or his representatives shall meet and confer annually in good employee faith with representatives of the formally recognized organization or organizations on wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment, within the scope of representation, for the ensuing fiscal year. (1) Formally recognized City employee organizations shall submit in writing to the Municipal Employee Relations Officer or his designated representatives requested changes in wages, hours and other terms and conditions of
