I~ROVEMENT ACT OF Lgll~ IN THE PROPOSED GOULD STREET ASSESSMENT DISTRICT No. 2, IN THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE; AND APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE PLANS~ PROFILES, SPECIFICATIONS, DETAILED DRAWINGS AND SPECIAL PROVISION8~ AND ASSESSMENT DISTRICT MAP~ APPROVING THE REPORT OF TNE CITY ENGINEER; AND FIXING THE. TIME AND PLACE OF THE PUBLIC NEARING AND FOR NEARING OBJECTIONS AND PROTESTS. It is hereby Resolved, Determined and Ordered by the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, pursuant to The Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and b~jority Protest Act of 1931, being Division 4. of the Streets and tlighways Code, as follows: 1. The City Council of the herein called the City Council, City of Riverside, California, proposes to order the improvement of the portion of Gould Street from and including the east side of its intersection with Jones Avenue to and including the west side of its intersection with Tyler Avenue, in the herein described proposed Gould Street Assessment District No. 2, in the City of Riverside, by constructing and installing the herein described curbs and gutters, street paving; removing existing driveway approaches and constructing driveway approaches; removing drive- ways on private property and constructing driveways on private property; adjusting sewer manholes to grade; clearing, grubbing, grading and doing earthwork; and doing described incidental, appurtenant and auxiliary work; all as shown and described in the herein mentioned plans, profiles~ specifications, detailed draw~ng~ and to specially assess the amount of the costs and expenses and ~ncidental expenses thereof, in excess of the amount contributed bi the City of Riverside, upon and against the lands in said Gould Street Assessment District No. 2, the public streets and easements ova%ed by the City of Riverside excepted; all pursuant to the Improvement Act of 1911. 2.
