That it is the intention of the City Council of <br /> <br />the city of Riverside, California, to vacate an alley located <br /> <br />northerly of the Anza Spur between Republic Street and Griffith <br /> <br />street upon the grounds and for the reason that said alley is <br /> <br />unnecessary for present or future public use. The said City <br /> <br />Council hereby elects and expresses its election to proceed to <br /> <br />vacate said alley pursuant to the provisions of the Street <br />Vacation Act of 1941, being Sections 8300 et seq. of Part 3, <br /> <br />Division 9 of the stree~s and Highways Code of the State of <br />California. <br /> <br />2.
