ON THE <br />PROPOSED SALE AND DEVELOPMENT OF REAL PROPERTY IN THE <br />AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopmerit Agency of the City of Riverside (the <br />"Agency") is engaged in activities necessary to carry out and <br />implement the Redevelopmerit Plan for the Airport Industrial <br />Redevelopment Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the following environmental documents have been prepared <br />in connection with and subsequent to the approval and adoption of the <br />Redevelopment Plan for the Airport Industrial Redevelopment Project: <br /> <br /> 1. The original Environmental Impact Report (OEIR) on the <br />Airport Industrial Redevelopment Project prepared in October, 1976, the <br />Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Airport <br /> <br />Industrial Redevelopment Project prepared in connection with the first <br />amendment to the Redevelopment Plan on April 1980, and the <br />Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (SEIR) for the Airport <br />Industrial Redevelopment Project, prepared in connection with the <br />Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan, and certified by the <br />Agency November 20, 1984 by Resolution No. 357. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council and Agency propose to approve an Owner <br />Participation Agreement (OPA) with Rohr Industries, Inc. (the <br />"Developer") pursuant to which: the Agency shall sell certain real <br />property in the Redevelopment Project; the Developer shall buy said <br />real property for the development of temporary parking and storage, <br />with long range plans to develop the site with a more intensive use <br /> <br /> <br />
